I practice Chen style taijiquan (tai chi chuan), and i am an indoor student of Chen Yingjun (20th generation Chen family). I started to learn taijiquan (tai chi chuan) when the Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang came to Brazil for the first time in 1998. When i met him i imediately abandoned every other practice i then did, in order to dedicate myself fully to Chen style taijiquan (tai chi chuan).
When the Grandmaster came to Brazil in October 2000 he generously invited me to stay at his home in Sydney, Australia, and asked his son Chen Yingjun to accept me as his student. I went to Sydney in 2001 and 2002, one month in each year, and then Chen Yingjun invited me to practice with him in China. In November 2002 I traveled to Wenxian, the distric where Chenjiagou is located at. I lived for 3 months with my teacher’s family, and followed him back to Australia to continue the intensive training for 18 more months. In the picture below I and my teacher are at the front door of the Chen family temple in Chenjiagou.

After coming back to Brazil I kept traveling to Australia regularly for instruction. In 2007 Chen Yingjun visited me in Rio de Janeiro and from 2008 onwards I’ve been organizing his anual seminar here.
I also lived in Hamburg, Germany, for 4 months, to practice taijiquan (tai chi chuan) under Jan Silberstorff. Jan is the founder of WCTAG. Since 2003, I am the translator in Jan’s seminars organized by WCTA-Br in Brazil.
In 2007 I received mya Senior Instructor certification from WCTA-Br, after an exam with Jan. Since mid-2009 I became Secretary-General to WCTA-Br.
I am a qualified shiatsu therapist sice 2001, and i completed my Acupuncture Practitioner certification at ABACO in 2005.
